A 30-year-old man arrested on Saturday by police in the Republic of Ireland investigating the murder of Gareth Hutch remains in custody.

Mr Hutch was shot dead at about 10:00 local time on May 24 at the Avondale House flats on North Cumberland Street in Dublin, where he lived.

He was the nephew of Gerard Hutch, the man known as 'The Monk'.

His murder is thought to be linked to an ongoing feud between two Dublin families.
