Two injured in Forresters Arms knife attack

Two people have been injured in a knife attack outside a Guernsey pub.

Police were called to the Forresters Arms, St George's Espalanade at about 0055 BST after a man and women suffered puncture wounds.

The injured man and woman were taken to hospital, but later discharged. A woman, 53, has been charged with two counts of unlawful wounding.

She was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court on Monday.

Det Insp Ashley Nicholas said: "I understand that a number of people were in the area and could potentially assist the serious incident under investigation.

"I appeal to those people to come forward and tell us what they witnessed."
