Three men charged with robbery in Guernsey have had their case adjourned while mobile phones are analysed.

Kendall Chivers, 40, from Southsea, Thomas Philip Marr, 27, and Jason John Duncombe, 26, both of no fixed abode, appeared at Guernsey's Royal Court.

They are charged with stealing goods valued at £107,660 from Paints in the Pollet in the early hours of 6 July.

The case has been adjourned until 23 August while phones and computers linked to the case are analysed.

The three men are also charged with receiving the stolen items, which included jewellery and a one-kilo gold bar.

Mr Chivers is also charged with possession of heroin.

All three men have been in custody since 7 July.

Guernsey Police said that a number of items stolen from the shop have been recovered.
