St Peter Port wheelchair ramp plan resubmitted

An application to install a wheelchair ramp in the heart of St Peter Port, Guernsey, has been submitted to planners.

Previous plans put forward in 2008 by parish constables to install a ramp at the steps between the Town Church and the Albion pub were rejected.

The new plans for the same location are open to consultation until 15 April.

Wheelchair user Sarah Whitchurch said it would make area around the south end of the High Street more accessible.
