Man is treated after fire at Thurlestone hotel

A man was treated for smoke inhalation following a fire at a hotel in South Devon.

Four fire engines and a turntable ladder were called to the four star Thurlestone Hotel in Thurlestone, near Kingsbridge at about 0305 BST.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the "small fire" involved soft furnishings and was out by the time the crews arrived.

The man was given oxygen by an ambulance crew at the scene.
