Guernsey Police investigate boat equipment thefts

Police in Guernsey are investigating thefts from and the tampering with five boats moored at Chouet.

Officers said two vessels were set adrift within the bay and fuel was also poured over boats on Friday. The incidents were discovered on Saturday.

During the incidents, a number of life-jackets and fuel cans were thrown overboard.

Other equipment, including a VHF radio and a satellite tracking device, went missing, police said.
