St Martins Football Club 'desperate' for land

A Guernsey Football Club are desperate to find more land to expand into.

St Martins have a well subscribed minis programme and are looking for additional fields to be able to use for football training.

Club secretary Graham Skuse said: "We've got about 150 minis on a Saturday, spread all over the place.

"We're desperately looking for land to purchase, lease or if there's somebody out there who wants to donate... but we do need extra land."

He said: "We're not looking to build on the land, we just want to play football on it."

The club, based at Blanche Pierre Lane, are also looking for a new under-14 coach.
