Sark tourist information break-in sees £600 taken

Sark's Visitor Centre and Harbour Cafe have been broken into, with an estimated £600 in cash taken.

Guernsey Police said the break-ins happened on Friday, with a "similar attempt made at the Island Hall", which was unsuccessful.

Police have appealed to anyone who was near those locations on Friday night or Saturday morning to name the offenders.

They have also issued advice to business owners not to leave money on the premises overnight.
