Guernsey Airport aims to limit Aviation Week disruption

Guernsey Airport's managers have said they hope to keep passenger disruption to a "minimum" during the island's Aviation Week.

The event will see parachute drops in the L'Eree area, the Battle of Britain Air Display and a number of additional visiting aircraft.

Management at the airport have said patience from passengers would be "greatly appreciated".

The event starts on Monday and ends on 11 September.

The airport added there would be additional aircraft noise during the event, especially in the south and west of the island.
