Revamp for Guernsey's Lily Short Film Festival

The Guernsey Lily Short Film Festival has relaunched as Sarnia Shorts.

Since it began in 1991 the festival has attracted film-makers and enthusiasts from across the globe.

Organiser Lisa Gaudion said she hoped the revamped festival would encourage the island's younger community to get involved.

She said: "We're looking to get students involved in the fundraising events we will be holding and encourage them to be a part of the festival."

Ms Gaudion said: "It promotes Guernsey as a cultural and media centre... it's important it continues."

The festival is held annually in October.
