Trislander plane runs on to grass at Guernsey Airport

An aircraft has run on to the grass after landing at Guernsey Airport.

The Blue Islands Trislander plane landed in the island shortly after 19:30GMT on Friday, and developed a problem with its steering shortly afterwards.

The aircraft, which was carrying 13 passengers, ran on to grass next to the taxiway at slow speed.

All passengers were taken to the terminal, and the plane was later recovered.

A spokesman for Guernsey Airport said the incident did not lead to any injuries.
