Channel Islands Lottery jackpot rises to £672,000

The jackpot in the 2011 Channel Islands Christmas Lottery has increased by more than £100,000 to £672,000.

That is higher than it has been in any previous year at this stage increasing by nearly £136,500 in five days.

The draw takes place on 15 December with the jackpot increasing as more tickets are sold with other prizes of £50,000, £25,000 and £500 also drawn.

In 2011 the jackpot for the lottery, which covers the Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsey, reached £750,000.
