Man pleads guilty to assaulting Guernsey police officers

A 51-year-old man from St Peter Port has pleaded guilty to charges of assaulting two Guernsey police officers.

Brian Andrew Clancy, of the Grande Bouet, also pleaded guilty to a charge of behaving in a disorderly manner.

The charges related to an incident at the Salerie Corner on Friday morning.

Clancy was remanded in custody and is due back in court on Monday, 6 February.
