Guernsey lifeboat tows motor sailor into harbour

Guernsey's lifeboat has rescued a motor sailor on its way to the island after it reported fuel problems.

The Spirit of Guernsey towed the 11.5m Muryana to safety after it became disabled six miles south of Guernsey, while en route from Treguier, France.

While that operation was under way a local power boat, AJ, broke down outside Soldiers Bay.

It was taken under tow by fishing boat Discovery and all four vessels moored in St Peter Port Harbour before 17:30.
