Guernsey Airport resumes flights after delays caused by fog

Guernsey Airport has resumed flights after heavy fog led to a number of delays and cancellations.

The fog descended on the island on Thursday afternoon, leading to the cancellation of some evening flights, and some on Friday morning.

Guernsey Airport issued a statement saying the weather was predicted to improve by mid-morning.

The disruption came just a week after fog led to three days of cancelled flights at the airport.
