Guernsey's Scrutiny Committee aims to improve States decisions

Nine suggestions have been put forward in a report designed to speed up decision making by the States.

Guernsey Scrutiny Committee aims to ensure decisions, or resolutions, are more robust and that departments are more accountable.

One suggested initiative would be a database of all States resolutions, which would be open to the public.

A public consultation on the report, which is available on the committee's website , is due to end on 18 June.
