Voting in Alderney election for Guernsey States begins

Voting has begun in Alderney, in an election that will see two States members chosen to represent the island in Guernsey's States of Deliberation.

Paul Arditti, Louis Jean and Neil Harvey are contesting the two available seats in Guernsey's government.

Voting is taking place in the Island Hall in St Anne where registered islanders can cast their votes until 18:30 GMT.

The successful candidates will take their seats in Guernsey in January.
