Man arrested and crossbow seized in Guernsey
A man has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill after police seized a crossbow.
Firearms officers were called to a house in Guernsey in the early hours, after they received reports of a man in possession of the weapon.
Guernsey Police said a man, 34, had been detained in a distressed state after allegedly threatening a neighbour, in the La Vrangue area.
A police dog was used in a search for the suspect.
Guelles Road, in St Peter Port was closed but has since been reopened. Police, who said the man had allegedly threatened officers, said their inquiries were ongoing.
