Isle of Man boy attacked by dog in play area

A seven-year-old boy was treated for leg injuries after being attacked by a dog in a children's playground in the Isle of Man.

The child, from Braddan, was playing in the area at Loch Promenade, Douglas, when he was bitten on the left leg by the small brown dog.

Manx Police said he was taken to Noble's Hospital for treatment and later released.

Anyone who witnessed the attack on Tuesday are urged to contact police.
