Appeal after girl, 13, assaulted in Isle of Man

A teenage girl has been assaulted in the Isle of Man, prompting a police appeal.

Manx police said two fights broke out between a group of female youths at East Quay and the Swingbridge in Ramsey between 1610 and 1855 BST on 31 August.

The girl suffered injuries to her head and back during the attack.

Police have appealed to any witnesses to contact them. They particularly want to speak to a woman who intervened at the Swingbridge.
