Fundraisers wearing pink and brandishing glow sticks are preparing to do a midnight walk in a bid to raise money for Hospice Isle of Man.

About 350 people are taking part in the five-mile trek which starts at Royal Skandia's building in Onchan and ends at the hospice at midnight.

Wine and cupcakes will be waiting for the participants at the finish.

A hospice spokeswoman said the number of people who had signed up was "fantastic".

She also warned that those interested in doing the walk but not registered would not be able to sign up on the day.

"We had that much interest - in so little time - we cannot cater for more than 350 people."

The walk starts at 2230 BST.
