Man remanded in custody over hoax bomb scare
A 42 year-old man has been remanded in custody by magistrates in Douglas on charges connected to making hoax bomb threats against a government building.
The man was charged with provoking behaviour and is due to appear at Douglas Courthouse again on 21 January.
Social Services staff at Hillary House on Prospect Hill, Douglas, had to be evacuated on Friday after a hoax call.
The building is situated in the town centre opposite the main Isle of Man government legislative buildings.
