Isle of Man teenagers told of Crimestoppers website

Isle of Man teenagers are being given information on how to keep themselves safe through a new initiative by Crimestoppers.

The organisation has a website for teenagers - - and Crimestoppers Isle of Man has encouraged young people visiting Strand shopping centre on Saturday to use it.

The site looks at knife crime, drugs, cyber crime, theft and vandalism.

It also urges young people to report crime to Crimestoppers anonymously.

Stuart McCudden, chairman of Crimestoppers Isle of Man, said: "The aim is to encourage young people to recognise how they can play a part in keeping them and their friends safe."
