Man charged after drugs seized in Isle of Man

A man has been charged with drug offences after police seized a haul of class A drugs in the Isle of Man.

The 27-year-old man from Douglas was taken into custody over the weekend, a police spokesman said.

The drugs - believed to be cocaine - have an estimated street value of approximately £6,000, the spokesman added.

The man is due to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
