Two men arrested in 'disturbance'

Two men have been arrested after a "disturbance" in the south of the Isle of Man.

It happened at Janet's Corner estate in Castletown at about 0600 BST on Monday.

Five police cars were dispatched to the scene after a phone call from a member of the public.

Insp Derek Flint said all reports of disturbances are dealt with as quickly as possible and any witnesses should contact Port Erin police station as soon as possible.

He added: "Officers were in the area for some time afterwards in order to make the necessary enquiries and would reassure the public that there is no cause for alarm.

"We will be making further enquiries in the area as the day progresses".
