Isle of Man inflation rate falls to 7%
The annual rate of inflation, excluding housing costs, has fallen from 7.3% in June 2011 to 7.0% in July 2011, official figures show.
The Consumer Prices Index also showed a decrease from 6.3% to 6.1% over the same period.
Food, clothing and fuel increased in price while travel and tobacco went down in the past month.
The annual rate of inflation, as measured by the Retail Price Index, held at 6.4% in July.
Over the past year the price of housing and rentals have increased by 3.1% and 5.2% respectively.
