Railway track short cut warning

Isle of Man police are warning that people using the railway track in Douglas as a short cut will be dealt with "robustly".

It is thought trespassers have been regularly crossing the tracks from Pulrose to get to Douglas Quay.

Police said it is illegal because of the high number of trains running through the area during the day.

A police spokesman added: "Trespassing is an offence that will be dealt with robustly for the safety of the public."
