Isle of Man election signs defaced by vandals
Vandals on the Isle of Man have defaced election posters and boards in public areas, police have said.
Graffiti has been drawn on canvassing posters put up by candidates around the island over the past few weeks.
Police stressed the election posters belong to candidates who fund them, and defacing them is a criminal offence.
A government spokesman said police will be tough on anyone caught tampering with the posters ahead of the election on 29 September.
