Isle of Man ferries cancelled during gales

Gale force winds in the Irish Sea have led to the cancellation of ferries to and from the Isle of Man.

The Isle of Man Met Office has predicted the severe storms could reach up to gale force nine.

The Steam Packet Company has cancelled all trips except the 19:45 BST from Douglas to Heysham.

The Ben My Cree sailing from Heysham to Douglas at 02:15 on Tuesday is scheduled to operate as normal.
