Isle of Man police launch golf course arson probe
Isle of Man police have launched an investigation after two cars, a red Citroen and a green Peugeot, were set on fire at a golf course.
Emergency crews were called after reports of two fires in Port St Mary at about 01:00 BST on Wednesday.
The cars, one of which was stolen, were found within meters of each other and one had fallen part way down a cliff.
A police spokesman is appealing for members of the public to come forward with any information.
He added: "These fires are suspicious and the person or persons who caused them could well have suffered burns or other injuries as a result.
"Clothing would likely smell heavily of smoke which would be an indicator of a person being close to or involved in the fire."
