Island residents are being encouraged to register to vote by the Isle of Man government.

Registration will mean electors are eligible to vote in any local authority elections or House of Keys by-elections in the coming year.

Forms are currently being sent to all island households, despite a system of rolling registration being in place.

Completed forms should be returned by 14 September to ensure inclusion in the next revision of the register.
