Free computer lessons for over 50s on Isle of Man
Free computer lessons are being offered in the west of the Isle of Man to anyone over the age of 50.
The sessions, delivered as part of a partnership between Age Isle of Man and Manx National Heritage, follow a successful pilot scheme which was launched in Douglas 18 months ago.
The classes are to be held at the House of Manannan every Monday.
George Quayle, from Age Isle of Man, said the aim was to build confidence and help people interact online.
"Staff provide a wide range of learning opportunities in areas such as writing emails, social networking, online shopping, Skype, mobile phones, tablets, printers and using government services," he said.
