Thieves have stolen about 450 litres (100 gallons) of diesel worth £600 from three wagons in the Isle of Man.

Police believe the theft, at a commercial premises on the Snugborough Trading Estate, occurred at some point between Saturday and Monday.

They are appealing for anyone being offered cheap diesel to come forward.

A police spokesman said local businesses should ensure gates are locked, lighting is working and CCTV cameras produce good quality images.
