Douglas man charged over £54,000 drugs find and PC assault

A man has been charged with supplying drugs and assaulting a police officer after police seized drugs with an estimated street value of £54,000 at a property in the Isle of Man.

Police said cocaine and £9,000 in cash was found when a 30-year-old from Douglas was arrested on Friday.

He has been charged with possession with intent to supply a class A drug and assault of a police officer.

He is due to appear before the next available court on Monday, said police.
