Three Isle of Man fire crews tackle large gorse blaze
Three crews were dispatched to tackle a large gorse fire on the west coast of the Isle of Man.
Engines from Douglas, Kirk Michael and Peel were called out to the cliff edge at White Strand beach near Peel, at about 17:30 GMT on Tuesday.
A Fire and Rescue spokesman said the blaze, which was about 250m from the road, took 90 minutes to control.
He added: "The crews worked in difficult conditions with three water jets to extinguish the fire."
