Ian Anderson pleads not guilty to Neil Roberts murder

A man from the Isle of Man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a 60-year-old man who was discovered dead at a property in Castletown in December.

Ian Anderson, 45, of Queen Street, Castletown, is charged with the murder of Neil Roberts from Ballabeg.

Mr Roberts was found dead at a house on Queen Street on 1 December.

Mr Anderson also entered a not guilty plea to Deemster Montgomerie over a separate charge of causing actual bodily harm to a woman.

No application for bail was made by Mr Anderson at Douglas courthouse and he was remanded him in custody.

The case was adjourned until the 5 June for a pre-trial hearing.
