A 10-year-old girl who was killed in a car crash in the Isle of Man last year died from "head injuries", an inquest has heard.

Alexis French, a year six student from Ballaugh Primary School, died when the car she was in collided with a bus.

It happened on 5 October at about 15:40 BST on the Castletown bypass, near the Ballakaighen Straight.

Coroner John Needham said investigations were ongoing and the inquest was adjourned.
