Two fishermen have been rescued after their boat broke down off the Isle of Man coast.

The Douglas lifeboat was called out at about 17:30 BST on Sunday to rescue the men, who had been fishing one mile off Port Soderick.

An RNLI spokesman said they got into difficulty after the vessel's propeller was damaged by debris.

The stricken 6m (20ft) boat was towed back to safety and moored at Battery Pier in Douglas for repair.
