Isle of Man burglaries: Two homes targeted in Peel
Police are investigating two burglaries which could be linked to a recent spate which saw more than 40 homes broken into on the Isle of Man.
Jewellery was taken from two properties on Ballatesson Meadow in Peel on Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
Det Insp Derek Flint said there "are similarities" between the two incidents and those investigated in recent weeks.
Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity is asked to contact police.
In January and February more than 40 homes were targeted in an "unprecedented spate" for the Isle of Man.
Burglaries were recorded in Onchan, Castletown, Port St Mary, Lonan, Kirk Michael, Ramsey and Douglas.
In the majority of cases, cash and jewellery were taken.
