Manx unemployment: Lowest February figures since 2011
The number of people unemployed on the Isle of Man has fallen by more than 200 on the same period last year, official figures have shown.
At the end of February, 930 Manx residents were out of work. There were 1,146 unemployed 12 months earlier.
Isle of Man treasury figures now put the unemployment rate at 2.1% - the lowest January figure for four years.
The figures show nearly half of those without work are under the age of 30 and 70% (655) are men.
During February, 447 vacancies were notified to the Isle of Man Job Centre.
