A fishing boat which ran aground off the Manx coast has been towed to safety by the RNLI's Isle of Man lifeboat.

The small vessel - with two people on board - got into difficulties after taking on water at an area known as Little Ness near Marine Drive.

A tow line was attached to the boat before it was taken to Douglas Harbour and lifted out of the sea by crane.

No-one was injured in the incident at about 16:50 BST on 1 August and the boat suffered only minor damage.
