Elderly and disabled in Jersey sent digital help packs

Digital switchover information packs are being sent to people in Jersey who may need extra help preparing for when the island converts from analogue.

Disabled people and the elderly are to receive the packs, which tell people where to find assistance to help get their television sets ready.

Most sets will be able to use a digital signal but some will need a special box connected to them as a decoder.

Jersey is due to switch from analogue to digital signal on 17 November.
