Young people in Jersey warned not to use fake ID cards

The States of Jersey Police are warning young people who use false identification to enter licensed premises that they could be prosecuted.

It comes after five fake international driving licences were seized by door staff over a couple of days.

The police said it was an unusually high number of fake licences to be confiscated in such a short time.

They said young people who do not have a driving licence or passport should apply for a Validate UK card.
