Man's body found in St Helier harbour identified

A body found in St Helier harbour has been identified as Antoine Arcade who was visiting Jersey from St Malo.

The States of Jersey Police said the 41-year-old was in the island for a day trip with three friends, and had travelled in two private RIB boats.

The duty officer said he understood Mr Arcade was reported missing after the boats had docked at the Albert Pier.

His body was found by the coastguard at about 0730 GMT on Monday near the New North Quay.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
