The Princess Royal is visiting Jersey and will open the visitor centre at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.

Princess Anne is the patron of Durrell and she will be opening the new visitor centre at the trust's headquarters in Trinity.

A new cafe and shopping area features in the first phase of the development of the wildlife park.

The princess will also open new buildings at Mont a L'Abbe school and the Scott Gibaut Homes in St Helier.

She will also meet people at the Jersey Women's Refuge and attend a dinner at Government House.

Mont a L'Abbe school provides education for children with learning difficulties.

The Scott Gibaut Homes Trust is a charity that provides accommodation for people with cerebral palsy and brain injuries.
