Leeds United wins AdMatch case in Jersey

A Jersey-based company which handled payment for Leeds United season tickets has been told to repay nearly £200,000.

Leeds United started action against AdMatch in 2006 to recover money owed to the club.

A judgement handed down by Jersey's Royal Court ordered the company to repay the club £190,000 plus interest.

Advocate Philip Sinel, representing Leeds United, said the club would be taking action to recover money from the Jersey-based owner of AdMatch.

Mr Sinel said: "This has been a long uphill struggle. We are delighted to have obtained this judgment which is proof that with tenacity and the right attitude, you can get the right result."
