Granite worth about £2k is stolen, say Jersey police

The States of Jersey Police said five large pieces of polished granite have been stolen from outside a farm shop at the weekend.

The black polished granite pieces were taken from the courtyard outside Rondels Farm Shop in Trinity.

Jersey Police said the granite was stored on a red pallet and had a distinctive sparkled appearance.

The granite was valued at about £2,300 and had holes cut in them ready for installation.

A spokesperson for the States of Jersey Police said: "The items were so heavy that some form of lift would have been required to move them."
