Jersey police warn drivers after 11 crashes in 10 hours

Drivers in Jersey are being urged to take extra care on the roads after 11 crashes in 10 hours on Monday.

The States of Jersey Police said none of them were serious, although two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

But Inspector Alan Williamson claims many of the accidents could have been avoided.

He said the rain followed a dry spell making the roads extra slippery and warned drivers to slow down.
