Man left unconscious after Jersey assault

A 29-year-old man was left unconscious after an assault in Jersey.

Jersey Police said the man was in the Office pub shortly before the assault in Mulcaster Street in St Helier just before 21:00 BST on Sunday.

The victim, who lives in Manchester, suffered a fractured nose, cuts and bruises and was kept in hospital overnight.

Officers described the suspect as white, bald, well-built and in his mid-30s.

Police said he was wearing a light-coloured jumper and blue jeans and want to hear from people who were in the area at the time.
