Jersey observes Remembrance Day silence

People across Jersey have observed a two-minute silence as part of the Remembrance Day commemorations.

Traffic was stopped around the island's Cenotaph as veterans and dignitaries held a wreath-laying ceremony after parading through the town centre.

Churches around the island also marked the silence.

A Festival of Remembrance is to take place at the Town Church in St Helier at 18:00 GMT. It will be led by the island Dean, the Very Reverend Bob Key.
